Did you look at my "how to" guide, it shows pic of the seatbelt pretensioner wiring?I'm hoping, that with the right tools, it's an easy job?
I heard something about seat belt retainers needing changing if you put later interior in an old model, which scares me
I have wires going to my front seats too, which I have no idea of their purpose :/

I paid for 1st class recorded delivery on wednesday and they stil aren't here, so I'm hoping it WILL be Monday or I won't be a happy boy.
Skegness is like 70 or so miles away I would never expect you to travel that far, even if I paid you, it's well out your way![]()
The wires are for the seat-belt pretensioners. You will need to disconnect your battery and leave for 20mins or so...I know somebody who disconnected the SRS fuse but I'm not too sure.have wires going to my front seats too, which I have no idea of their purpose
At least I'm doing something. :_poke:He's only saying that cos he's high on paint fumes...![]()

Or, as HTR has posted.Did you look at my "how to" guide, it shows pic of the seatbelt pretensioner wiring?

I think that the SRS fuse is fuse 13 but I disconnected the battery to be sure. :broon:The wires are for the seat-belt pretensioners. You will need to disconnect your battery and leave for 20mins or so...I know somebody who disconnected the SRS fuse but I'm not too sure.
Then you need to slide your seat back and undo the two front bolts and then the two rears... you will then need to disconnect the pretensioners (under seat) You can swap these over onto your new seats. They SRS wiring from the floor will have a coloured plug I.E BLUE/YELLOW/RED. The plug on the pretensioner will be the same. That's why you need the same pretensioners.

And what's that supposed to mean...are you saying that I should be doing my door cards? Well mate, your painting will be suffering if you keep breaking off to mess about on forum *ner, ner*At least I'm doing something
Wahey, I didn't even think to look for a guide, nice one. Will come in real good use, sounds easier than I imagined it to be, then again, it probably is harder then it looks, especially for me :lol:Did you look at my "how to" guide, it shows pic of the seatbelt pretensioner wiring?
