Hi,

I feel my car is on its last legs and considering changing cars to a newer one although I quite like my car and will do whatever to keep it if possible.

The revs on my car rover 414I 1996 seems to go up and down and the only remedy is full down on the accelerator for 5 secs at 50 mph on stationary solves the problem for a day?

Any idea why this happens? Plus my car uses alot of fuel approx for £20 I get about 35-40 miles in town driving some people get between 100-150 city driving and 200 motorway same version and year of car.

Thanks.
