My Father in Law has a problem when starting his 400Si, if it starts first turn OK, if it doesn't it will take a good 10 seconds to catch, or repeated tries. Have just changed the plugs to eliminate them.

Seams to run OK after starting, but can stall rather easily.

Any Ideas?

What engine?

Mine does that too ('97 414si) and i've not yet found a solution, though i've replaced quite a bit including the crank sensor with a known good un.

Right pain in the bum it is too.

If you find out the solution please do post it back here!! :)
