Ok boys and girls. Whats better on a car, for looks NOT practicality. 3 doors, or 5 doors? Make your choices now! ;) Im talking mainly bout the bubble 200's, 25's, and ZR's. ;) :D

i like a 5 door 200 but only because I've got one meaning I'm biased!
I think the 3 doors look better but the five doors are better for practicality and the fact that the front door then doesn't open so far making it easier to get out in car parks.

Though i have a 3 door.
3 doors look good on small cars...
5 doors look good on big cars....

Rarely does it look right otherwise. 200/zr gets it ok though, as does the beemer 3 doors.

The scooby 3 door does not...neither does a 5 door saxo.

If you get me?
My reason for above...that i forgot to add...

Was that 3 door cars..well...my 200...the doors are bigger.
They feel more like doors...big and bulky...than little bean tin can top openings!

Infact, i dont care, i often would like 5 doors when im trying to shove a load of stuff in!
looks good how the back doors on the alpha 156 are disgused. looks a class car.

basicly if the car is designed to be a 5 door like a saloon etc it looks good i've seen 2 door xj jags and something not right about them.
I 've always bought 5 doors, so I like them best. Mby this will help

3 Doors...

And i am not biased in anyway...

If i could have got a 3 door ZT i would have sold my Little sis to get it... :D
The rear quarter window on the 3 door always looks a bit smaller than it should be in my opinion. Plus I prefer 5 doors - it makes you look less of a muppet not having to get out of the car to let others in or out. In terms of muppet-ness, no contest.

In terms of practicality, 5 will always be better, besides when it comes to parking in tight bays the smaller doors on a 5 door car help out a bit aswell.

Scoobies look awful full stop, no matter how many door (My opinion anyway)

I have a 5 door, but I think 3 doors are better for looks, especially if you plan on doin some serious external mod's.
I think 3 doors probably look slightly better as it's typicaly more sporty and I prefer the rear windows, but bare in mind the 200 was designed as a 5 door so in no way does it look out of place an when taking other factors like practicality into account the 5 door makes sence :2c:
Not knocking 5 doors, on 200's, 25's and ZR's they look smart enough, just prefer 3 doors! :)
Not knocking the 3 door cars but the 5 doors look a lot better to me. It's classier, the shape of the doors flows with the shape of the car and honnestly, only 3 doors looks cheap! :)

I dont own a 200 so I'm not biased about this, it's just my honest opinion.

That would be a 2 door ZT not 3. Also called a coupé.

I agree with Tad, somehow 5 doors look more sophisticated and more upmarket and can look just as sporty as a 3 door as has been proved already.

It just seems a bit awkward and cheapo having to get in and out of the car and for people to struggle to get in the back. It's as though you couldn't afford 5 doors and so had to go for a cheaper version with 3 doors.
However there is nowt wrong with a 3 door.
3 or 5

In the case of the bubble shape if its in a dark colour then it's still a sporty shape in 5 door but in white and silver etc the 3 door is a lot nicer and sporty!

But the 5 door is a lot more practical. But i am slightly biast as iv got a 5door.
Isnt insurance on a 5 door a little cheaper than a three door cos of 3 doors looking more sportier? This maybe complete bollox, just sumthin my mate had said ages ago. I dont carry people in the back of my car anyways anymore! :)
