Could it be the fuel pump or a blocked fuel line?

 

I would be tempted to start with the the most obvious place and charge the battery. Might have enough to turn the engine over, but not enough to fire. A year is a long time for a car to be stood.

 

Your car has reached the age where the crank sensor seems to "go bad".

Lots of cars from the 94/95 years seem to be suffering from crank sensors gone bad and falling apart. May be whats up here...

 

When I parked mine up for 3 or 4 months the rotor arm burnt out on restarting so that is worth a look.

Also as said charge the battery and make sure you are getting a good strong spark at the plug leads.

 

yup my rotor arm burnt up too, but that was because my ignition coil was shafted!

crank sensor is an interesting one, not happened yet but now i am aware of it i'm quite worried! is it expensive to fix???

 

Na should cost in the region of £25 to replace
