2 "spare" plugs under the bonnet....????

979 Views 4 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  RJ303
Was rummaging under the bonnet of the MG on sunday trying out the MAF experiment and came across 2 unused cables with approx 6 pin female plugs at one end... one of which had been wrapped in what looked like a small plastic bag the other had a blue plug end on. The leads themselves are located at the side and towards the front of the battery compartment, can anyone shed some light on what they might be for?

Those plugs are for the fuel burning heater when fitted.
It mounts onto the bracket in front of the battery, and if you look at the side of the engine in that area, you'll notice the blanked off fuel pipes ready for fitting also.
