i just think 17's are a bit common... everyone puts 17's on... even wanna b modders! Just think 18's would be a bit more special. its so hard to decide!
Definitely 18s - if you're doing it for cost then get some 14" wheel trims! If not then who cares about tyre price, it's all about the looks. I put on 17s and know that my next set will be 18" minimum...
18s would like sweeeeeeet!
I have 17s on my ZR, however the only reason I don't have 18s is because I want my car to keep its MG theme, and unfortunately MG don't do 18s (well they do, but not in the ZR/ZS fitment) :sad3:
Stick with 17's. I think anything larger on the 200 just looks out of place. The ride will be crap and the handling will be funny all for an extra inch and your tyre changes will be more expensive.
If you get the right sort of alloys the 17's will look bob on especially when lowered. Don't sacrifice everything just for an inch.
ok iv been convinced... 17's is the way. Although now it screws up my choice of wheel!!!!!! :err: I was going to get Wolfrace Warriors, but they are dished (which i like) but in 17's would look small. My mates got a pair similar and they dont look like 17's!! I was thinking of getting Oz Titans, which go right to the edge........> WAT TO BUY?????? :indiff:
personally i would go for 18's as i have them myself on my zr and to tell you the truth the handling feels alot better considering the tyres are wider. and the price isnt much different it all depends on how much you spend. you can look on the web for buying tyres and then get them fitted. i have just had to pay £180 today on two new tyres with fitting and tracking. 18's all the way
yeh by looking at Liamm83's wheels... no offence... but they do not look like 17's. The 200 is a pretty big-ish car. 17's go nice on pugs and sax's but i think cos the size of the car n the style of wheel i wanna get i should get 18's!!
dont blame you, i suppose it all depends on wat type of wheel you get whether it be dep dish or just flat. i think that the bigger you go with deep dish wheels the beta or just go crazy and get some 19's or ur zed
nah didnt work..... dont think 19's would be too easy to drive with! All that rubbing would piss me off and im not forking out on extensive work to make em fit! cheers n e way tho... i think i'll stick with 18's ........... possibly lol
yes matt i know the ones you mean but i think they are slight "fatter" spokes than on the pug u mention. but i think they set the car of nice especially when you go past reflective glass in the night. lol
Yeah, my mate has just pointed that out to me, the ones on the pug were CF's. Still very similar. Mind if i use that pic so someone could photoshop the wheels onto my car?
