Hi,

Just wondering would a 1600/1800(non-VVC) head fit onto a 1400 as if it would i would to join that to a VVC Inlet Manifold and 52mm TB.

I'm just exploring some different mods to what most people have had done so any advice is welcome.

Cheers,

Ben.

All non VVC heads are the same, the VVC manifold will not match the non VVC head and you'll gain no power and you will also have the problem of the MAP sensor.
If you want more out of your 1.4 then:
BMC induction kit
Ported manifold and downpipe
Performance Cat back system
Superchips Icon

That's about as much as you can do without headwork.

Pointless doing all those mods if the gas can't escape quick enough because of crappy Rover welds. You'll be shocked when you see them.

Really?!! I have to check that out then.. what is the down pipe? Is the section of 2 pipes between the manifold and the cat?
