It was a plain 1.1i rover, but after almost 2 years of work and money it can out-run any 1.4 16v mg zr. On dyno-test it had 131.4 Bhp on wheels.

1.1i engine block refurbished, ceramic cylinder liners installed. Forged pistons and piston-rings (Wossner), forged piston rods (Wossner), engine displacement raised to 1.4 with 1.4 forged piston rods (Wossner) and crank-shaft (double-cemented). Diamond programmable ECU. 1.4 16v head (ported). 1.8 fuel pump. Strava made exhaust system. (stainless-steel).
Fitted rover 25 interior.
Clarion CZ301 player, Pioneer GT Series Kevlar-Aramid front and rear speakers. Pro SAL 800w sub-woofer and amp.
1.8 MG ZR suspension.
