Bought new by my parents in 2004, HGF in about 2009 but it soldiered bravely on until 2014 when the engine became starved of oil because my mum refused to change it or service it in any way for about 5 years much to my irritation. We then didn't have the money to replace the engine so we sold it to a garage where the engine was changed and it served 2 years hard labour as a courtesy car. In December 2016 though, it was for sale for the low, low price of ?495 so with great haste we bought it back and now I've set about fixing the many broken things on it. One day I hope to restore it to it's former glory as it was the car that I grew up with and therefore has large amounts of sentimental value even if it is a bit rubbish.
2004 MG Rover ZR 105 (Grey)
An slight oil leak and a coolant leak, normal stuff really.
I replaced the dash lights with LEDs so now it's a little bit brighter.
Some minor rust and chips for a distinguished look
I've replaced the head unit with the one from my 2001 Fiat Seicento because I wanted an AUX port and for some reason a car from 2004 doesn't have one but a cheaper car from 2001 does.
Wheel and Tire
Currently running standard 17" Straights with lower profile 205/40 Rainsport 3s for those mad acceleration gains.
