Bought the car in 2010 with a blown head gasket, owner wolud not spend the money for a garage to fix the problem. I discovered that is was not only the gasket that was the problem, there was a hole in one of the water channels in the head. Got a freind of mine to weld the hole and i honed the hole afterwards. Then fitted a ne uprated head gasket and WOW what a joy
i was to drive this car :-) still driving the car today :-)
I have done many repairs on the car myself and it is one of my best hobbies.
