Purchased from an Adelaide South Australian MG workshop as a USA left hand drive import in 1993 Blue in colour, during restoration revealed original colour as Green Mallard, Ochre trim, original 4 cylinder engine with smog pump, 4 speed gearbox etc; Wire wheels, last of the Chrome bumper models.
Converted to R/h drive, repainted Damask Red/Black trim. Ran as standard unit until motorsport interest took over, went from 1 1/2 SU,s to 1 3/4 SUs then 45mm Weber to finally DYI EFI, Alloy wheels, 5 speed toyota gearbox LSD, 4 piston front brakes, increased engine capacity to 2 litre.
In 2007 converted to 3.9 Rover V8, upgraded to 4.6 Rover V8 in 20013
