History
Started life as the very first V8 Estate that MG ever built (VIN000004) and was then converted at Longbridge to Land Rover Freelander 2.5 KV6 Automatic running gear. Was on test during 2003 & 2004 with launch intended for 2005. Was supposed to be called "MG Countrywise" and was to rival Audi Allroad. This was the only one ever built. There was a Rover 75 version, but this vehicle was destroyed as part of MG Rover agreement with Ford.
