History
This is my Rover 45 1.8 Saloon I bought it from a mechanic in Birmingham it had been sat in the car park of his lock-up for two years and although it came with an MOT when I bought the car it needed a lot of work. Including a completely new exhaust system, catalytic converter, fuel filter, spark plugs and coils, water pump and belt, cvt gearbox filter and fluid, cvt gearbox drive plate, front bumper repair and respray, heat shields and headlight bulbs.
One of the first off the production line WXXX LDA registrations were the first batch of press and marketing cars registered by Rover Group at the time of the cars debut. It has personal line interior with 'Catkin Green' velour seats and door inserts. There were three personal line trims for the 45 of which the green was the rarest and velour even rarer. The exterior colour is celadon green a colour that was only offered on the 45 for the first six months of its existence.
