D Series

D Series (4 cylinder) Introduced in 1989 in the Rover R8 Series of cars, this Honda engine came in 1.6L form only in Rovers, this was to fill the gap between the 1.4L and 2.0L. Comes in SOHC and DOHC format(GTi only), both are 16v, some early 400 bubble Autos also had the SOHC 1.6 D series

L Series

The L Series Diesel engine was a truely class leading diesel when it was launched in 1995. Available in 101PS in top power form at launch and a lower powered non Intercooled version. Nearly 10 years later it was available in an uprated 115PS version on the MG ZR and ZS. Its been fitted to the Rover 200, 25, 400, 45, 600 and MG ZR and MG ZS

K Series (4 Cylinder)

The award winning K Series started off as a 1.4 and 1.6 engine. It was subsequently enlarged to 1.8 and fitted with Variable Valve Control (VVC) on the 1.8 model. Latterly a low presure Turbo was added to the 1.8 model.

K Series (6 Cylinder)

Launched in the 800 Series in 1998 the V6 version of the K Series has gone on to power cars from the Rover 400, MG ZS, Rover 75 Saloon and Tourer, MG ZT and MGZT-T. Its available in 2.0 and 2.5 displacements.

T Series

The T Series was availble as a 2.0 Litre in NASP and Turbo forms. It was used from around 1992 up to 1997. It was used in the 200, 400, 600, 800 & 200 Coupe cars.
