The Rover Owners and Performance Club was established in 1996, by Steve Wright and Ian Darby. With over 1,000 members throughout the United Kingdom and overseas, the club is perhaps best known as publishers of "Rover Torque" magazine - the only magazine dedicated to owners of modern MG and Rover cars. Following the launch of the MG Z range in 2001, the club added "MG-Xtra" - an additional section devoted to the "X Powered" owner! However, the club is much more than just an interesting read! During the Summer months, members can be found attending shows and gatherings throughout the country - including The Rover Owners and Performance Club's very own "Show and Shine Event" at Gaydon, Warwickshire.
